Phoebe & Heath, A Classic Wedding with Bold Details

Every wedding begins with a vision, and Phoebe and Heath came to me with a clear one. From our very first meeting shortly after their engagement, the goal was simple, to take their ideas, style, and priorities and shape them into a celebration that felt seamless, meaningful, and genuinely enjoyable from start to finish.
We met early on to talk through inspiration, budget, and overall timeline. That initial conversation became the foundation for every decision that followed. From there, we scheduled two additional planning meetings, one midway through the process to refine details and check progress, and another about a month before the wedding to finalize logistics and ensure nothing was overlooked.
This was a full-service planning and design experience, which meant my role extended far beyond surface-level coordination. I handled vendor communication and booking, oversaw the wedding website and RSVPs, and ensured each moving piece worked together smoothly. With a background in graphic design and public relations, planning and design were intentionally woven together, creating a cohesive experience rather than separate parts working in isolation.
For Phoebe and Heath, that meant designing every visual detail with intention. Their save the dates and invitations set the tone early, featuring a bold gate-fold design that felt both classic and unexpected. I carried that same level of thought through the wedding website, ceremony and reception signage, and rehearsal dinner pieces. Custom elements like napkins, cups, and koozies added personality and helped tie the entire weekend together in a way that felt polished yet personal.
The celebration took place at The Venue at Waddell Place, which hosted the rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception, creating a beautifully cohesive setting for the weekend. An incredible vendor team brought everything to life, including Yellow Horse Photography, Matthew Joyner Videography, Styles on Broadway, Miss D’s Catering, Jerry Joyner Cakes, Celebrations Events & Tents, Bo & Co, DJ Justin Rice, and The Loft. Each vendor played a key role in executing the thoughtful plans put in place.
Phoebe and Heath’s wedding is a perfect example of what I love most about this work, combining strong planning, trusted vendor relationships, and custom design to create a day that feels effortless and personal. My approach is hands-on, detail-driven, and fully tailored to each couple, because a wedding deserves more than coordination alone. It deserves intention.
